The Pantry in Kenninghall, Norfolk is a food hub providing affordable food to household members with wraparound support. It is also linked to a Warm Welcome Space, the weekly mindfulness café at Kenninghall Village Hall, and is very prolific in posting to our closed Facebook group for Warm Welcome Space volunteers.
Just three days ago it posted this image and message: “Undley Farm Events we made good use of some of the pumpkins today at our Slow Cooking workshop. Thank you.”
In the past few months, The Pantry has celebrated receiving a £120 donation from The Kings Head pub in North Lopham which will go towards cooking lessons and a visit from Banham Zoo to the mindfulness café at Kenninghall Village Hall which has led the zoo to host one of its weekly sessions for those people who haven’t, for whatever reason, been able to visit the zoo.
The Pantry has also recently supported school children with school uniform, and home schoolers with sports equipment.
Like so many of our Warm Welcome Spaces around the country, The Pantry and Kenninghall mindfulness café are supporting a range of people in their community.
The Pantry is particularly good at sharing its news. If you don’t have time to share your news and images, why not send them to us so we can shout about the difference you are making?
